Surrounds and outer frame gaskets are molded as one piece to enhance reliability.

The W1v2 Subwoofers are finished with a striking new look for JL Audio—a completely new, silver powdercoated, stamped-steel basket supporting an injection-molded, metallic-finish polypropylene cone with an embossed metallic JL Audio logo. As with the high-end W6v2 subwoofers, a removable mounting flange trim ring can be customized and can also receive grille-mesh inserts directly, without the need for additional grille hardware.
