AADUSB003 USB Interface connections
AADUSB003 USB Interface connections
Solution
We have had several comments from customers who were unclear about how to connect the wiring for the AADUSB003 Audi USB adaptor. To clarify this, please follow these steps:
1) Disconnect the vehicle battery (after checking that you have the radio code, if applicable).
2) Unplug the 20 way ISO connector from the back of the radio.
3) Plug the 20 way connector on the car wiring loom, which you have just disconnected from the radio into the red connector on the Y lead.
4) Unclip the blue plug on the Y lead from the green and yellow connectors (there's a small catch on the inside which you just need to push towards the green plug).
5) Plug the blue plug from the Y lead into the black socket on the USB interface wiring.
6) Slide the blue plug from the interface unit onto the side of the green Y lead plug.
7) Plug the yellow/green/blue plug into the back of the radio.
8) Connect the brown or black fly lead to earth on the back of the radio chassis.
9) Reconnect the vehicle battery. The interface should now function.
